Bright Ideas Website Design, LLC is your source for website creation, brand strategies, graphic design, website management and more. We offer extraordinary customer service and quick turn around. Owner and operator Kena Peterson has been involved in the graphic design, layout and public relations arenas for various employers, colleagues and personal use for over 20 years.

As a part of her experience, she has not only created branding items for others, but is also an expert in website design and maintenance.  She works exclusively with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign and Dreamweaver.  She is also an expert with WordPress and its various plugins, programs and more.  As an active community member, she is proud to be a past member of the Board of Directors for the Parker Chamber of Commerce and Dancing Kids Fundraising.  She is also an active member in her local BNI Networking group. Kena is also a part of the GoDaddy Pro Council and was a featured speaker at WordCamp Denver 2020.

In addition to her branding knowledge, Kena has a background in journalism, public relations, technical writing and marketing. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Technical Communications from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in Politics and Public Policy from University of Colorado. She has worked in the government and nonprofit fields of marketing, public relations, media relations, graphic design and layout and event management.

She is a wife and proud mom of three children, two girls and a boy.  She lives in Parker, Colorado and loves to volunteer at school, help with community events and participate with her children’s’ extra curricular activities.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Aurora Cultural Arts District.
